About

Voice in Motion

“Voice in motion” was born out of two passions: music and bodywork. Even though in voice use the body is the instrument, not everyone is always familiar with and aware of what is going on in their body. At conservatoire, hardly anyone mentioned bodywork (except for my singing teacher) and only referred to “correct posture” as being an important part of voice production.

When I came across the Feldenkrais Method, I was instantly intrigued. It was like nothing I’d encountered before. It not only changed my singing, but more importantly the way I feel in myself in everyday life. For singers, it is an invaluable resource to improve their connection to themselves and thus their voice production, and for everyone else it can help develop a more relaxed, balanced and embodied way of living.

Through “Voice in motion”, I teach singing, offer language coaching in German and Swedish and also Feldenkrais Method group classes, open to everyone.

About me

I am a classical singing teacher and Feldenkrais practitioner. I am passionate about both of these subjects and have dedicated my life to helping others improve their singing and movement abilities.

As a classical singing teacher, I strive to help my students develop a healthy and sustainable singing technique that allows them to express themselves fully through music. I believe that singing is not only a form of artistic expression but also a powerful tool for personal growth and self-discovery.

As a Feldenkrais practitioner, I am fascinated by the connection between movement and awareness. Through the gentle movement exercises and hands-on work of the Feldenkrais Method, I help my clients improve their movement patterns and increase their body awareness. I believe that by becoming more aware of our bodies, we can move more efficiently, avoid injury, and enhance our overall well-being.

My passions for singing and the Feldenkrais Method are deeply intertwined, as both subjects require a deep understanding of the mind-body connection. Through both disciplines, students become more embodied in themselves and connect to their own authenticity and expression, be it through the voice or in the way they move through life.
